Another big win for Mary Persons with Bulldog Softball taking home a Region Championship. Coach Kicklighter shares,"The Mary Persons Bulldogs' Softball coaches are excited for this team to be Region Champions. Since March, these players have been in the weight room, participating in hot summer practices, and getting acquainted with new coaches. Being Region Champions was a team goal from the beginning. To see this team accomplish this goal is rewarding and exhilarating for the program. We are so proud of all of their hard work and dedication to Mary Persons Bulldogs Softball and we are ready to keep this season going." Congratulations, ladies, on your big win! #CHAMPS

Maya Angelou once said, "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated." This week, you proved that truth. Defeats may come in the form of setbacks, tough assignments, or unexpected challenges, but you showed resilience. You proved the quote from last week and you came back stronger! You turned difficulties into opportunities to prove to yourself, and to others, that you are capable!
As we head into a new week, carry that mindset with you. Remember that each challenge is a chance to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and prepare for bigger victories ahead. You've shown that when obstacles appear, you don't stop, you rise. And that's exactly how you'll keep moving forward, one step stronger every time.
And due to our CHAMPS rising to the occasion, you have earned Athletic Wear for tomorrow. So that we can continue with this tradition, please ensure that you are following Athletic Wear guidelines in terms of shirt and short lengths. Have a great Friday, Bulldogs!

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an annual academic competition among high school students for recognition and college undergraduate scholarships. Two MP students have been awarded honors through the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Hannah Goodwin represents less than 1% of the nation’s high school graduating seniors and has qualified as a Semifinalist. As a semifinalist, she will have an opportunity to advance in the competition for Merit Scholarship awards.
Hunter Dorn ranked within the top 2/3rds of the nation's high scorers and has earned the designation of a Commended Student.
Both of these students are being recognized for their outstanding ability and potential for academic success in college. Congratulations to Hannah and Hunter!
Do not miss out! October 15th is the very last day to purchase.

Nelson Mandela once said, “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” Remember, success isn’t about avoiding setbacks; it’s about standing back up and coming back stronger.
This week, we encountered some obstacles that were not handled with CHAMP-like behavior; therefore, we will not earn Athletic Wear tomorrow. It is important to note these setbacks do not define our future incentives. Instead, let’s use it as motivation to rise to the challenge, show our best effort, and prove what we can accomplish together next week.
Remember, if you face obstacles, lean on our CHAMP values: To be Courteous, Honorable, Accountable, Motivated, and Prepared. These principles will guide you through tough times and help you turn adversity into opportunity.
Although we did not earn Athletic Wear this week, tomorrow is a fresh chance to rise, refocus, and come back stronger for next week.

As you head into a new week, keep this in mind:
"A setback is a setup for a comeback"-Dr. Willie Jolly. And the comeback is always stronger than the setback!
As a result, you have earned Athletic Wear for Friday, September 12. Remember to stay within the Athletic Wear dresscode in terms of hem lengths and appropriate attire.

As we head into the weekend, remember these words from Winston Churchill: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Keep that courage and determination with you as we prepare for another great week ahead.
You have earned Athletic Wear for Friday, but remember to follow the dress code. Enjoy your Friday and weekend—you’ve earned it!
