What a great week! Weeks like this don’t happen by accident, and it says a lot about the effort you’re putting in each day. When the end of the year begins to creep in, it can be really easy to not put our best foot forward, or to not make good decisions. It is always important to remain committed to being a CHAMP until the end-courteous, honorable, accountable, motivated, and prepared.
As we look ahead to next week, MP will be celebrating our Teacher Appreciation Week. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to give a little kudos to the teachers who invest their time, energy, and care into your success each day. A simple “thank you,” a kind note, or a thoughtful gesture can go a long way in letting them know how much they are appreciated.
Remember:
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” — Aesop
Let’s keep showing up like CHAMPs each day, and also take a little time to recognize those who are supporting you along the way. Enjoy your Friday of Athletic Wear, CHAMPs!

We want to take a moment to recognize each of you for a fantastic first week back from spring break. You have returned with focus, energy, and a commitment to excellence that truly reflects what it means to be a CHAMP.
We are especially proud to share that, through your collective efforts, you raised enough funds for charity during Sweet Week to earn an extra Athletic Wear Day. Well done! This is a direct reflection of your generosity and school spirit.
To celebrate, you will be able to participate in Athletic Wear Day on Monday, April 20th if you continue to demonstrate CHAMP behavior through the end of the day tomorrow. Let's finish the week strong by showing consistency in your actions, attitudes, and accountability.
As a reminder: "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." Keep building on the positive momentum you've created this week.
Thank you for representing our school so well. Go Dogs!

It’s been another great week at MPHS! Sweet Week is in full swing, and our CHAMPs are doing an incredible job raising money to support local charities. Remember, if we reach our goal of $1,000, there will be a principal’s reward for everyone, so let’s keep the momentum going!
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill
While Sweet Week is about giving back to our community, it’s also about understanding the true meaning of giving. Giving goes beyond simply sharing what you have; it’s about showing kindness, empathy, and compassion for others. When you take time to help someone in need, whether through your time, effort, or resources, you make a real difference. Even the smallest acts of generosity can create a ripple effect, inspiring others to do the same. Learning to give now helps build strong character, strengthens our community, and reminds each of you that you have the power to make a positive impact.
Tomorrow is Color War Day, so represent your grade with pride! Be sure to wear your Athletic Wear as well; you’ve earned it! Let’s bring the energy and school spirit to our Spring Pep Rally as we head into Spring Break.
Have a great Friday, and Go Dogs!

Great job this week, CHAMPs! Colin Powell once said, “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.” Thank you for showing up each day determined and willing to put in the work to succeed. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
We are especially excited for Friday with two big reasons to celebrate! First, you all have earned Athletic Wear for remaining committed to being Courteous, Honorable, Accountable, Motivated, and Prepared! Then, we’ll enjoy an early dismissal with our CHAMP Early Release Day for those of you who earned the incentive. A special bonus is the Junior/Senior Prom at Fall Line Station on Saturday.
And don’t forget: Sweet Week kicks off next week! Get ready for a fun-filled week as we come together to support some great local charities.
Finish strong; Friday is going to be a great day!

We definitely ended the week with a little weather twist, but I’m proud of the way everyone kept a positive attitude and powered through like CHAMPs. Sometimes things venture into uncharted territory and we gain new skills as we navigate through. Today was a testament to that!
As we head into the weekend, remember this quote from basketball legend Michael Jordan:
“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.”
No matter the weather, keep showing up, working hard, making things happen, and do it like the CHAMP that you are. Have a great weekend, stay safe, and enjoy your Athletic Wear Friday!

As we wrap up another week, we want to take a moment to recognize the great job you have done this week. Thank you for showing what it means to be Courteous, Honorable, Accountable, Motivated, and Prepared. Because we were CHAMPs, we earned another Athletic Wear Friday!
Spring is a busy time of year, and it can be easy to lose focus as the weather gets nicer and activities pick up. We appreciate the way so many of you have continued to stay engaged, work hard, and represent our school well.
As you head into the weekend, remember this thought from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson:
“Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success.”
Take time this weekend to relax, spend time with friends and family, and recharge for the week ahead. When we return on Monday, let’s keep the CHAMP greatness going and finish this spring semester strong.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend. Go Dogs!
