We are so excited for tomorrow! As a reminder, school policy allows you to walk your child in for the first 5 days. Doors will open at 7:30, but no classrooms are open until 7:45. If you come prior to that time, you can wait with your child in the media center or cafeteria. Additionally, we will dismiss early the first three days of school:
2:50 pm on Friday, August 1, 2:55 pm on Monday, August 4, & 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 5.
Thank you for helping us ease into the school year - it's going to be a GREAT one!

Tomorrow!!!🎉 All classes will be participating in our first ever “Bear-ly Used” Book Swap at TGS. Please remember to send your child to school with a book that can be swapped in class for another. This will ensure that all students have at least one new book for the summer! Mrs. Tonn has over 110 in her office if you need one. Please tell your child to go see her, and she’ll take it from there. If you have any questions, message or email Misti Tonn!!

Unfortunately, our field is completely saturated with a forecast calling for even more rain. Therefore 2nd and 3rd grade Field Day will be inside on Tuesday, and due to space constraints, parents will not be able to attend. We apologize but appreciate everyone's understanding.

TGS field day update for Tuesday
We are so excited to kick off some Field Day fun on Monday! While we were hoping for sunny skies, the forecast is calling for increased rain, so we are moving the festivities indoors to the gym. Due to space limitations, we won't be able to accommodate parent visitors, but don't worry, we will be capturing plenty of pictures and sharing them so you can still experience all the excitement with us! Thank you for understanding!

This year marks the 18th annual World Autism Awareness Day." We are sooooo close!! Who can help? And, if your student isn't registered yet, make sure you do that before midnight tonight!

we are 225 dollars away from our goal - deadline is 1159 pm tonight - 278 students have raised 30 so have earned a Read-athon T-Shirt - 550 kids have either raised 30 OR read 200 minutes so will qualify for Inflatables Day and Read-apalooza - Everyone will get to watch the principals kiss a pig IF we reach our 30K goal
Thank you, TGS parents, for your participation in and support of our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Read-athon! The kids have done an amazing job raising money and reading and having fun with the rewards and incentives. We are extending the deadline through Monday at midnight to 1) give everyone ample opportunity to meet the requirement for Inflatable Day and the Read-apalooza Carnival (which is $30 raised or 200 reading minutes logged) and 2) see if we can reach our highest goal ever of $30K which means that Mr. Sanders, Mrs. Tarver, and Mr. T will have to kiss a pig!!! Thank you for your continued support and investment in our school! Let's Get Movin'!
