We have a very limited supply of extra yearbooks available to anyone who may have missed the ordering deadline. Cost is $40 at the TGS front office between the hours of 8am and 5pm. First come, first served!

Tomorrow!!!🎉 All classes will be participating in our first ever “Bear-ly Used” Book Swap at TGS. Please remember to send your child to school with a book that can be swapped in class for another. This will ensure that all students have at least one new book for the summer! Mrs. Tonn has over 110 in her office if you need one. Thankfully, the weather is finally cooperating so we WILL have Field Day tomorrow outside for 4th and 5th grade! Please note that anyone coming to watch must: - enter through the back parking lot and check in at the top of the hill - have a photo ID in order to check in - be listed in the student's Infinite Campus account If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Tamarkis Taylor, and we look forward to a fun day of sunshine tomorrow!

Unfortunately, our field is completely saturated with a forecast calling for even more rain. Therefore 2nd and 3rd grade Field Day will be inside on Tuesday, and due to space constraints, parents will not be able to attend. We apologize but appreciate everyone's understanding.

We are so excited to kick off some Field Day fun on Monday! While we were hoping for sunny skies, the forecast is calling for increased rain, so we are moving the festivities indoors to the gym. Due to space limitations, we won't be able to accommodate parent visitors, but don't worry, we will be capturing plenty of pictures and sharing them so you can still experience all the excitement with us! Thank you for understanding!

Mark your calendars for Thursday night when our principals will camp out on the roof! The kids did such a great job with this year's Read-athon so this is just another reward for the hard work. Let's hope it's not too cold, and let's hope Mr. T and Mr. Sanders pack enough snacks!

This day is about more than awareness—it’s about action, and we are asking everyone to wear blue on Wednesday, April 2, in an effort to promote greater understanding.

Rock Your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day! Join the Rock Your Socks campaign and celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on Friday, March 21, by wearing your most colorful, mismatched socks! This fun and meaningful movement raises awareness and promotes acceptance and diversity for individuals with Down syndrome. Why March 21? The date represents the unique triplication of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome. By rocking your wildest socks, you help spread the message of inclusion and celebrate the amazing individuals who make the world brighter. Thank you, TGS parents, for your participation in and support of our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Read-athon! The kids have done an amazing job raising money and reading and having fun with the rewards and incentives. We are extending the deadline through Monday at midnight to 1) give everyone ample opportunity to meet the requirement for Inflatable Day and the Read-apalooza Carnival (which is $30 raised or 200 reading minutes logged) and 2) see if we can reach our highest goal ever of $30K which means that Mr. Sanders, Mrs. Tarver, and Mr. T will have to kiss a pig!!! Thank you for your continued support and investment in our school! Let's Get Movin'!

Another Read-athon Reward is coming your way! Every student in the school will receive an ice cream treat on Friday because of the efforts of over 500 of our students and their families. Thank you to our students and teachers for making this fundraiser a priority! Keep reading!
