Children are carrying books and reading books under the words, "KBS Book Swap, May 22 and 23.  Donate your favorite books to our swap! If you have chapter books you've loved and want to share, we'd be grateful. Feel free to donate as many books as you'd like, but you can take up to 5 books with you. Our aim is for every student to have a summer reading companion. Thanks to those who have already contributed! Your support in promoting literacy within our school is greatly appreciated!"

KBS Book Swap on May 22 and 23.  Bring in books that you have already read and enjoyed between May 9-19, 2023.  See Mrs. Hanson or Mrs. Sikes in the Media Center to record the number of books that you would like to trade during the swap.  The maximum swap number is 5,  but you may bring as many books as you would like to donate.  On your class swap day, you will select the number of books that you brought to trade.  Our goal  is for every student to take a book home to read during the summer.  Thank you for helping us promote literacy.  There is clip art of children in a line holding stacks of books underneath this information.
