Purpose & Objectives

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national, non-profit organization of middle and high school students who have a strong interest in technology. Members learn through challenging competitions, leadership activities and community service. Inforamtion is available at The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering.  Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts through co-curricular activities, competitions and related programs.

Joining Requirements/ Guidelines for Membership
Current, or former Engineering and Technology Education students, who do NOT have any serious disciplinary referrals and also have a mature demeanor, since students will be attending at least 1 overnight conference per year. The total cost of dues is $55 which includes dues, polo shirt and t-shirt.
Community Activities
The students are to participate in various community activities throughout the year. We have donated food to the "Back Pack Bundles" so far this year and will continue to do so. We will also be participating in cleaning projects such as in and around the school as well as donating to a charity at some point in the school year.
Future Projects
  1. Participate in various Community Projects throughout the year. We will be conducting our own, local chapter officer training program using the National TSA (Total TSA) informational DVD. We will participate in CTAE week in the Spring.
  2. To attend the State Leadership Conference in Athens in March of next year. The students will compete in various events and attend rallies/meetings.
  3. Host a local chapter TSA Breakfast in the Spring.
